Wayne F. Replogle (1904-1977) was born in Anthony, Kansas and grew up in Kansas and the San Luis Valley of Colorado. He began his career at Yellowstone National Park as a seasonal park ranger on horse patrol and later spent his time there as a ranger-naturalist. He spent nine years tracing the Bannock Indian Trail through Yellowstone, refuting reports that few Indians had visited the Park area. He wrote a book titled "Bannock Indian Tribes" and appeared in several documentary films about Yellows...
